THE CONCEPT
I was a part of the Motion Team for Pixels and Print 2024. Pixels and Print is a 48 hour design workshop for social impact hosted by Syracuse University’s Visual Communications Department in S.I. Newhouse School for Public Communication.
This year, we helped The Baldwin Fund. The Baldwin Fund supports both new and established researchers investigating the causes, prevention and treatment of breast cancer. We created a logo, new branding, a new website, immersive design, and a motion video. My team created this introductory video to simply explain what The Baldwin Fund is about and how they WILL find a cure for cancer.
THE PROCESS
To help bring this video to life, my team split up into scenes and we merged our creations together. I was tasked to creating the final scene which shows the logo. This animation can be used for anything and not just this video.

This video was created using Adobe After Effects.
SOCIAL MEDIA ANIMATION
I also had the opportunity to create a simple animation for their social media. This short video could be used on Instagram reels, Tiktok, or any social media they see fit.
